01 — Grip

4mm German latex palm

The palm is a premium 4mm German latex, chosen for the grip, cushioning and close ball contact demanded by serious goalkeepers. Thickness contributes to how the gloves absorb and hold the ball; latex quality determines how the surface behaves against it.

02 — Fit

Negative-cut construction

Seams are stitched inside the gloves rather than outside. The result is a closer wrap around the fingers and a more precise, controlled feel—the fit favoured by many goalkeepers who want less material between hand and ball.

03 — Protection

Removable finger protection

Finger-saving elements sit in the backhand of each finger and provide additional support when required. They can be removed entirely by goalkeepers who prefer greater flexibility, so the same pair of gloves serves both preferences.

04 — Breathability

Breathable mesh body

A lightweight mesh body promotes airflow through the gloves while helping maintain flexibility and reduce unnecessary bulk across the back of the hand.

05 — Backhand construction

Raised rubber CXV logo

The rubber CXV logo sits over the breathable mesh body, adding structure, tactility and a distinctive technical finish to the backhand.

Glossary

German latex
Latex produced to German manufacturing specification, widely used in higher-tier goalkeeper gloves for its grip and cushioning characteristics.
Negative cut
A construction where the seams are stitched on the inside of the gloves, creating a tighter fit around the fingers.
Finger protection
Supportive elements placed along the backhand of the fingers to limit backward movement. On the CXV gloves these are removable.
Backhand
The upper surface of the gloves, opposite the palm. It carries the mesh body, the logo and the punch area.
Punch area
The reinforced region of the backhand used when clearing the ball with a punch rather than catching it.
